tick.tick.tick. is a fictitious band in the real world - or the real band in a fictitious world. The side project of sidemen who’ve played with everyone including Red Wanting Blue, Bon Iver, Ke$ha, Bruce Hornsby, Ben Folds, Taj Mahal, Pomplamoose, Benmont Tench, and Will Hoge (among countless others), tick.tick.tick. was born out of an 8-bit processor in the spring of 2020 and creates instrumental music inspired by nostalgia through a lo-fi lens.

Theirs is a sound that would be played from the cassette deck of a DeLorean on a long stretch of highway late at night. Glitchy, fuzzed- out, and reverberated drum bashers, transcendental journeys, mesmerizing grooves, and slinky steel guitar melodies. Side effects include: increased heart rate, sensory distortion, paranoia, hallucinations and euphoria!
