Flotation Toy Warning

Formed in 2001, London-based space rock/chamber pop collective Flotation Toy Warning combine the earnestness of the Flaming Lips with the melodic attack of Air. The British quintet is made up of lead vocalist Paul Carter, guitarist Ben Clay, keyboardist Vicky West, bassist Nainesh Shah, and drummer Steve Swindon. Flotation Toy Warning released two four-track EPs in 2002, followed by their atmospheric full-length debut, Bluffer's Guide to the Flight Deck, in 2004 on Pointy Records in the UK, Talitres Records in France, and on Misra Records in the US.

A 7” was released in 2011, and the band went on to release their second full-length album, The Machine That Made Us, in 2017 and remain active to this date.
